Nestled in the picturesque village of St Johann in the Swabian Alb, my recent stay was a pleasant interlude during our drive through the Black Forest. The hotel itself strikes a balance between traditional charm and modern comfort, with spacious, clean rooms that provided a welcoming retreat after a day of exploring. Checking in was seamless, thanks to the friendly receptionist who assured us of a warm stay. Breakfast offered a variety of options, satisfying the morning appetite without being extravagant. I missed the chance to experience the bar in the evening, which I've heard can be lively with both locals and guests mingling, something I would have relished. As culinary enthusiasts, we always appreciate a good dining experience, and while this stay was brief, the atmosphere made it clear the hotel has much to offer. A recommendable stop for anyone venturing through this scenic area.
